Meet our artist

Pastor Heather Smith or "Mickey," has been doing face painting a dressing up since she was little. She has won many awards over the years for her costume make-artistry. In 2019, Mickey won the Best in Bensenville Award for Make-Up Artist. She is also a pastor for First Living Waters Church of God of Jesus We Fallow. Mickey does big event like in Bensenville: the Music in the Park, Libertyfest, Tree Lighting, Toy Drive, and Street Beast fundraiser Run/Walk. Also in Bensenville she has work at the two grammar schools for the holidays. She also works with Party City's Kazzam too.

During her time with the Lombard Jaycees, she did make-up for Eastereggstravgansia, Hunted House & Matinee, and Taste of Lombard. Some other companies are Crete & Barrel, Pinstripes, Fall Fest Clarendon Hills, and Western Springs Fall Fest. She also worked at Bensindoun French Market: Glen Ellyn, Western Springs, Wheaton, and Geneva. Along with their Cantigny French Connection Days. She has also done face painting for Lombard's Shop w/Cop event.  

Every year Mickey donates her time and talent at the Back to School event at the Downers Grove Church. Many companies come to help children have school supplies in their age group. They have Living Waters Artistry, some hair stylist, and dentist are the regulars. They sometimes have other companies like a reptile place to teach about the animals. They have food, music, and fun for the kids.

Mickey has periodically done vending at the DuPage Animal Fall Festival at the animal shelter. At White Pines Golf course she did many holiday events, too. In the past, she has worked at various events such as: home parties, block parties, Churches, other elementary schools, Corporate/Business Parties, Fundraisers, etc. Whatever the occasion may be. I am always open to new venues. Remember, it does not matter the age; we are all God's children! Come as little children. (Mt. 18:3) 

Currently, before Covid happened; she was lined up for Bensenville's Music in the Park and Libertyfest. Carol Stream was also working on having her for their music in the park too. The Back to School Event at Downers Grove church also got canceled. Along with the winter events in Bensenville. Mickey looks forward to getting back to work. She has a new set-up that will make set-up a lot easier and faster. She can't wait to test it out. 

Due to her also being a pastor, Mickey is trying to stay away from scary or unholy pictures. If you would like this type of make-up: she will do it only for purposes of training first aid, or for learning purposes. Mickey is also observes the Sabbath, which is her time for church. This is from sundown on Friday night to sundown Saturday night. Please try to work around these times, she will appreciate it. If you need these timeframes, we can recommend some people for you, or get in contact with them for availability. Plus, we also know some other entertainers if you need them for your party also.
